With so many tokens in existence, it can be hard to stay on top of the latest crypto price movements. If you want to track your crypto, you need a little bit of third-party help.

So, if you want to follow your crypto portfolio, monitor the price of tokens you’re thinking about investing in, or just keep an eye on the markets, keep reading.

Here are seven of the best crypto price tracker apps for Android and iOS.

1. Gem

Available on: Android, iOS

If design and layout are important to you, Gem is probably the best crypto price tracking app.

But it’s not only a pretty face. Gem can sync with more than 20 of the most popular crypto exchanges and display the precise real-time value of your portfolio in each.

Supported exchanges include Binance, Bitfinex, Bitmex, Bitstamp, Bittrex, CEX.io, Coinbase, HitBTC, Kraken, KuCoin, Poloniex, and Yobit.

You can also use the app to access technical information about more than 2,000 coins, including whitepapers, summaries, social media links, and historical data.

(Remember, it’s a cool feature, but you should never leave large amounts of crypto in hot wallets on exchanges. Use offline cold storage solutions like the Ledger Nano X instead.)

2. CoinTracking

Available on: Android, iOS

CoinTracking is a great app to use if you invest in a lot of niche altcoins; the live prices of more than 4,000 tokens are available.

It’s also an excellent app for anyone who lives outside the United States. You can change the base fiat currency to USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, GBP, CNY, JPY, and more.

Another noteworthy feature is a complete breakdown of all your crypto trades, showing percentage change, current value, and realized and unrealized gains/losses.

Finally, the CoinTracking app can show information about your portfolio distribution and historical trends. Price notifications are supported.

3. CoinWave

Available on: Android, iOS

We’re going to give a shameless plug to our own brand-new app—CoinWave.

CoinWave, which is available for free on Android and iOS, lets you track the price of more than 50 of the top cryptocurrencies by market cap.

You can add any of the coins to your watchlist, set your favorite coin for easy access to historical price charts, and even use the app to read the latest articles on the Blocks Decoded website.

4. Coin Stats

Available on: Android, iOS

The Coin Stats app lacks the refinement of some of the other crypto price trackers on this list, but the app more than makes up for it with its powerful set of features.

All the usual stuff is there—you can see live prices of more than 3,000 cryptocurrencies across more than 100 exchanges, you can import your portfolio data from more than 30 exchanges, and there’s an array of data and charts for you to dig into. You can even import data from hardware wallets like Trezor and software wallets like Exodus.

However, a couple of features really stood out for us:

  • Notifications: In addition to price notifications, you can also receive notifications based on market cap and trading volume.
  • News: For each coin, the app tracks dozens of news sources and displays all the content in a single feed. The sources include social media and non-traditional news sites like Reddit.

A pro version of the app is available if you want more features such as tax reporting tools.

5. Blockfolio

Available on: Android, iOS

Blockfolio is perhaps the most well-known app to track cryptocurrency prices; it is pushing towards 10 million total downloads.

The app does not have automatic exchange syncing—you will need to add all your trades manually. However, as we mentioned, it’s not the worst thing from a security standpoint.

One of the app’s best features is its support for multiple portfolios. It means you can sub-divide your total portfolio, for example, into short-term plays and long-term holdings.

In terms of data, you can see candlestick charts and real-time order books for all the major coins, as well as the usual slew of historical data and useful information.

In total, Blockfolio supports more than 8,000 tokens and 100 fiat currencies.

6. Delta

Available on: Android, iOS

Another of the most popular apps to check crypto prices is Delta.

Although this article is only interested in mobile apps, it’s worth noting that Delta does have desktop clients available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You cannot run the desktop apps without the mobile apps; they require access to the mobile app to sync.

There are also several alternative cryptocurrency desktop tickers available for free, right now.

Delta supports 5,000 coins and offers personalized news and alerts to its users. Plenty of in-depth tools and features are also available, including market cap, trading volume, daily highs and lows, order books, depth charts, profit and loss indicators, and links to project website and whitepapers.

Other features include automatic syncing with exchanges and wallets, portfolio analytics (such as fee breakdowns), and customizable watchlists.

7. CryptoCompare

Available on Android, iOS

CryptoCompare is primarily known as a crypto price tracking website, though the mobile apps are also worth downloading so you can look at the latest data when you’re out of the house.

The mobile apps are not as feature rich as the site, but there’s more than enough content to meet the needs of most people.

The app includes more than 5,300 coins and 240,000 coin pairs. You can manage multiple portfolios, read the latest crypto news from a variety of sources, and check our advanced price charts.
