If you’re only following the crypto-sphere on Twitter, you’re doing it all wrong. The real action happens on other services.

Where Do Crypto Conversations Happen?

You shouldn’t write off Twitter—it’s a useful app, and many of the biggest names in crypto have an account. We’ve discussed some of the best crypto Twitter personalities if you want to learn more.

However, two must-have apps are Telegram and Discord.

We’ve already looked at some of the best crypto Telegram groups, so now it’s time to put Discord under the microscope.

If you want to subscribe to the best crypto Discord groups for signals, news, rumors, price analysis, and more, keep reading.

1. Crypto Rand

Those of you who are migrating from Twitter will almost certainly be familiar with Crypto Rand. The account has been live for several years and specializes in crypto market analysis and research.

On Twitter, Crypto Rand has more than 200,000 followers. The Discord group has a few thousand members.

The main two channels on the server are Public Discussion and Public Charts. There’s also a “trollbox” (for memes, jokes, and other light-hearted content).

2. r/CryptoCurrency

r/CryptoCurrency is the official Discord server for the largest crypto group on Reddit.

When you first join the server, you will only have access to a small number of rooms (General, Traders, Charts, Resources, Mining, and Developers.

As you interact with the community, you will level up and receive access to new rooms where more serious traders hang out.

3. Cracking Crypto

Cracking Crypto is one of the largest crypto Discord servers—not in terms of members but in terms of the number and diversity of the channels within it.

There’s an entire group of channels dedicated to crypto signals, each of which is operated by a specialist in the area. Remember, don’t blindly follow crypto signals. Do your own technical analysis to make sure you agree with the analyst’s claims.

You will also find four general chat groups and a long list of bot channels. The bots cover everything from breaking news and the latest price movements to ICOs and airdrops.

4. Elite Crypto Signals

Elite Crypto Signals focuses on offering buy and sell suggestions; there’s not much in-depth discussion in the other chat rooms.

The Discord server offers both free and premium signals. The premium signals provide higher returns and are more numerous, but cost $30 and come with no guarantees.

In truth, you should always be wary of signals, especially free ones. Nonetheless, if you insist on trying, this group is among the best.

5. Spacestation

Spacestation is one of the largest and most active crypto Discord servers. We might even say it’s our favorite.

Ethereum is the focus; the server started as a place for ETH miners to hang out and chat, but it now encompasses users from all areas of crypto—including miners, developers, traders, enthusiasts, and more.

There’s still a chatroom dedicated to Ethereum, but you’ll also find channels for chart analysis and technical trading. A couple of rooms are used to discuss equities and the regular markets, and there’s even a sports room!

Today, the site is a thriving community and worth getting involved in.

6. r/Decentralization

r/Decentralization is another crypto Discord server that’s spawned from a Reddit community. It’s a community of more than 10,000 members who are all passionate about decentralization.

Cryptocurrency only forms one part of that. The server also has channels dedicated to news, mining, and blockchain technology.

You will also find a channel devoted to sharing resources as well as a for hire/wanted job bulletin board.

7. Pure Investments

The Pure Investments crypto server its slightly more difficult to register with than the other crypto servers we have looked at.

When you first join via the invite link, you will either need to go to a website to register or leave a manual note about your purpose for joining.

Once you are in, however, the standard of the chat is high. The rigorous entry process keeps out people who just want to post memes and troll other users.

8. r/CryptoDevs

And another Reddit spawn. This crypto Discord server is aimed at any developers who are working in the crypto industry.

You will find people who have been working on smart contracts, core blockchains, crypto research, crypto science, and crypto-based UI projects.

The server has dozens of channels. They cover numerous areas of development, including dev tools, web3 dev, vyper dev, evm dev, and even game dev.

There are also platform-specific channels (Zil, Near, and Steem) and some help marketing and PR information.

If you a crypto developer, this is a must-join channel.

Don’t Forget About the Official Servers

Finally, remember that the developers of several cryptocurrencies offer their own official servers that you can check out.

There are servers available for many of the mainstream coins, as well as several micro-cap altcoins with tight-knit communities.

Indeed, if you want to speak directly to the creator of your favorite token, checking whether or not there is an official Discord server should be one of your first steps.

And now it’s your turn. We would love to hear which crypto servers you subscribe to. What aspects of the crypto sector do they specialize in? You can leave all your suggestions and recommendations in the comments section below.
