Blocks Decoded is pleased to announce the latest crypto mobile app in its line-up—Crypto Equalizer.

Crypto Equalizer is an easy-to-use and clutter-free currency conversion app. You can add all your favorite tokens and fiat currencies, and quickly see the various exchange rates in real-time.

Let’s take a closer look.

What Is Crypto Equalizer?

Crypto Equalizer is a crypto and fiat currency conversion app. It supports 100 of the top crypto tokens in the world by market cap, as well as more than a dozen fiat currencies.

Fiat currencies offered in the app include the US dollar, British pound, Australian dollar, Swiss franc, euro, Mexican peso, many Asian currencies, and more.

Once you’ve set up your favorite coins and tokens, the list of currencies will show both sides of the current rate (i.e., the Bitcoin > USD rate and the USD > Bitcoin rate).

The exchange rates update themselves automatically every 60 seconds.

Why Do You Need Crypto Equalizer?

Many of the crypto conversion apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store are designed for forex traders and other people who have a solid understanding of the markets.

Of course, those types of apps have their place; many people rely on them heavily. But what about the layman? If you have a portfolio of crypto assets, do you need all those extra bells and whistles just to see how the latest news has affected the BTC/USD rate?

Crypto Equaliser is also useful for people who a) live as expats or b) live outside the United States. In both cases, it can be somewhat tedious to see crypto prices constantly listed in dollars. Indeed, if the coronavirus has taught currency investors anything, it is that fiat currency rates can change in a flash (don’t believe us—look at the percentage change in the US dollar and Mexican peso during March 2020). Having an app that can simultaneously show the Bitcoin price in both USD and your home currency is advantageous.

How to Customize Crypto Equalizer

Despite being a minimalist app, Crypto Equalizer still offers a few settings that allow you to customize the interface to meet your needs and preferences.

How to Add/Remove Coins

Ideally, your app’s main interface should not be overwhelming. Rather, make sure you customize your favorite tokens and fiat currencies; the information that’s most relevant to you will be easier to digest.

To add and remove coins, click on the + icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, then mark the associated coin checkbox to set up your list.

To select a coin for which you want to perform a conversion, tap on its listing on the main screen. The currency (along with the value you entered) will remain selected until you manually change it, even if you close the app.

Change the Order of Coins

You can adjust the order in which coins appear on the main screen. To customize the list, long-press on a coin’s entry and drag it to the new position.

Dark Mode

Yes, we know how vital a dark mode is to users, so we’ve included one. To enable dark mode, hit the Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner and slide the toggle into the On position.

Crypto Equalizer is free to download and use, and there are no geo-restrictions on which countries can use the app.
